Centre Stage

Thursday Sept. 3 7-10 p.m.  The Join In Jam is back to Thursday night by popular demand!  Grab your instrument and come on down!  A $5 donation gets you in and some complimentary drinks and snacks…other goodies available from the Backstage Cafe’.  Don’t have $5?  Come anyway, give what you can, it takes the green stuff to put on these events and to pay the rent!

Saturday, Sept. 5  12- 2  p.m.  Perry Devine…singer songwriter, 2-4 p.m. Jurassic Country…Rapp Brush & Cousin Elmo, 4-6 p.m.  to be announced.  Join us when Centre Stage moves outside and rocks the parking lot!  We are celebrating Labor Day and the Slammin’ Salmon weekend…in the Heart of Brookings.  Local “uptown” merchants have banded together to promote our businesses and are coordinating events all up and down Highway 101…there is even a shuttle to get you from the harbor, to the events, and back. 

The Backstage Cafe’ will be having food and drink specials, and drawings for some great prizes.  Weekend hours will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10-6.  See you there!

Friday, September 25 7-10 p.m.  Perry Devine will host an open mike for all musicians who desire a little stage time…get on the list by emailing centrestage@charter.net or just come on in and join the fun!  Free Event…just please purchase a beverage at the Backstage Cafe’…sorry cafe’ is only open for espresso, smoothies, and other beverages for the moment, and maybe some snack items.  The kitchen is still under construction but will re-open soon with new days and hours.
