Friday, April 24 , 7-9 p.m Angels in Our Eyes in concert. The featured performers are “Harmonica” Ray Silvia and Catherine Rowe, who comprise a contemporary Christian group called Angels in Our Eyes. “Harmonica” Ray is known for his composing, guitar arrangements, and is considered by some to be among the best harmonica players on the West Coast. Catherine is known for her expressive vocals, powerful melody lines, and poetic lyrics. This two hour concert will include music suitable for the entire family, many of the selections are original compositions from their four CDs: Tears to Joy, Singing with the Angels, Waterfall, Crystal River and just released fifth CD, Child of God. The two also perform popular songs of the 60’s, many of which are sing-a-longs. Ray performs harmonica solos such as Summertime and Unchained Melody. Attendees will be invited to join in a rhythm section and kazoo section on several songs including the Lion Sleeps Tonight. Prepare to join in and have some musical fun!
Free Concert! Donations will be gladly excepted and will be used for the Stagelights Music Lesson Program, and will go toward overhead, tuition for low income students, supplies & instruments, and teacher compensation.
